Who needs Life Insurance?

I believe that the simplest answer is everyone. Why? What most agents never explain to their clients, is that the proceeds are generally tax free. Yes. I said tax free. This is a boon to the majority of people, as the tax man rarely takes a day off, even in death.

What if I do not have any debt and my bills are paid, do I still need life insurance? Yes, probate taxes still loom, and there is no reason to use your life savings. The money you saved could instead help a relative, church or nonprofit organization.

What about my children?

All children should be covered as soon as possible. Why, you may ask?  The earlier a person is covered the less the premium (payment) will be.  If that isn’t a good enough reason, how about the fact they may qualify for far more coverage at an earlier age than waiting till they are on their own.   We all know that waiting to purchase coverage at a later date will simply cost more.  Oh, there is the health aspect, the better ones health is the lower the premium.

What if I am sick?

Insurance has evolved to include people of most health issues. Yes, it is true that someone that is terminally ill would not be covered in most cases, but why wait to find out.  A quote is always free.

What if I am old?

In most cases insurance known as final expense coverage can be the answer. Yes, final expense insurance has a tremendous range of products and coverages that may fit your needs.

Life Insurance for the Living?

Yes, life insurance can be used to pay bills and generally help with your daily living needs. How is this possible? My next blog post will go into details on this particular aspect of coverage.
